today, i walked around robinsons for like 2.5 hrs. like what the heck right. i take a long while to shop. anyway it wasn't very enjoyable cos i was lugging my bag around. haha anyway, i saw this pair of shoes. THEY WERE AWESOME. really really awesome. like a vintage italian classic brown pair of dress shoes really classy looking and they were on discount like $130 after discount super good! but guess what they only had size 6 left. and guess what. i still went to try even though i'm like 8.5-9. and guess what, i managed to squeeze my feet into the shoes. and i marvelled at how beautiful they look. hahahahha. but then after like contemplating for awhile, i slowly resigned to my fate that i would be foolish to buy them cos my feet were feeling really really tight. i was seriously entertaining thoughts of buying them and then just hope they will expand. but alas, it was not to be. and i saw this really cool nike windbreaker that had the great britain flag on it. like really nice, and there was this windbreaker that had the colours of germany, they were like wonderfully juxtaposed! why do i sound so strange! if i could, i would buy all these nice designs. i like designs from nike they are really good. and quiksilver and billabong and rip curl.

anyway, hope i find another cool buy of vintage classic brown shoes that are on discount and that look really really nice and wow me. then i shall buy you.

something like this wouldn't be too bad.

anyway, something my friend wrote :
Today I saw a rainbow. It was beautiful. Can't remember when was the last time I saw one actually. Think it was last year. Last year! I dont think the appearance of rainbows has decreased in frequency with time and I remember a time when I used to see rainbows more often. But i suppose in some ways the older you get the more time is spent indoors and not looking to the sky as much. Think I need to stare at textbooks less and start looking at the sky more. heh.I dont know what captivated me about the rainbow but it just did. There's something so beautiful about rainbows. The colours, juxtaposed on a blueish-grey sky. Dont think God could've arranged colours in a light spectrum any more perfectly. The rainbow was a reminder to me of God's promises and His providence. The rainbow reminded me that there is something beautiful to look forward to after a storm. The rainbow is a reminder to me of the great beauty there is in this world which we so often overlook and miss out on. As they always say, sometimes the best things in life come for free.

“Life is like a rainbow. You need both the sun and the rain to make its colors appear.”“

May God give you...For every storm a rainbow, for every tear a smile, for every care a promise and a blessing in each trial. For every problem life sends, a faithful friend to share, for every sigh a sweet song and an answer for each prayer.” - Irish Blessing

“The true harvest of my life is intangible - a little star dust caught, a portion of the rainbow I have clutched” - Henry Thoreau
