my nose keeps leaking while i'm trying to study so i've to keep sneezing out all the runny mucus. it's a sucky feeling maybe i caught a parasite while studying about parasites. haha kidding and no parasites causes rhinitis or runny nose anyway..

and anyway, today i read the last few chapters of deuteronomy and moses was telling the israelites what would happen to them if they didn't obey God. and it really sounded quite scary u know. like you will eat the flesh of your sons n daughters.. well probably gotta understand the context first but one thing is quite clear, God certainly had dire consequences for the people should the disobey Him.

I'm just not very sure why all these seems a little dilute in our present day society. as in things are so much different. like what do these teachings in the OT have to say to us christians living today.. shall go find out once my exams are done. and also, i always think of all the killings in the OT, like invade this nation, invade that nation. True that those nations must have done things that are displeasing to God's sight, but it's like violence and war and killing and stuff and i need to understand why all the fighting and warring and killing. Cos my sister asked me once. Why did God ask israel to go and war with another country and to like kill so many people... i dont' think an answer like "cos those people were dishonouring God" would satisfy her. it doesn't really satisfy me either..
